Bluxome Point

Bluxome Point was an artist-run space hosting dynamic exhibitions in the SOMA district of San Francisco. We celebrated innovative approaches to art making and community building, incubating contemporary work activated by social gatherings. Upstairs from Babylon Burning Silkscreening and neighboring eight art studios, Bluxome Point had 450 ft of exhibition/studio space with 15’ ceilings. We strived to regenerate the artistic culture that once thrived in a district then defined by condo developments, software companies and AT&T Park. From 2010 - 2012 we offered artist residencies and shows featuring the works of over 100 emerging visual, sound and performance artists.
